Exeter University's Battle for the Winds hub

Forkbeard Fantasy meeting

on March 6, 2012

Last week the entire production team and ensemble of performers met with Chris from Forkbeard Fantasy.

Chris updated us on the stage of the project: what elements are currently underway and the general progression of the project as a whole.

He explained the order of the procession (with a detailed drawing!), going through all the participating schools and colleges and confirming their place and theme within the procession. These included themes such as cream teas, seagulls, lamb puppets and live music from Exeter College street band. University of Exeter shall be at the beginning of the procession, with our lead performer Emma guiding the way.

Costumes were fitted (see photos below) with some wacky and colourful designs, and this weekend puppet construction commenced at the Forkbeard Fantasy studio! (Images will follow soon).

The ball is definitely rolling!
